Welcome to the Host Club's newest and most spring filled event thus far. We know we've been missing. Sorry, it's been an interesting month. But your host club is back in full force now

And with the story Haruhi had told him of being forced to join, it hadn't seemed so strange to him that a girl would be in the Host Club...? A momentary lapse in speech as he considers, and then--]
Am I wrong, Kyouya-san?
[He tilts his head, curious. He understands why they'd want to keep it quiet if she's masquerading as a boy, but...he'd thought he was right...?
...If he was wrong, he'd have a lot of apologizing to do.]
[Kyouya smiles, shaking his head.] Just an interesting selection. I don't know many that call Haruhi by a chan. I hadn't realized you two had gotten that close.
[Secret: He's having his own amusement here behind that hell of a poker face.]
[However, it was impressive that this person had about as much perception as he did to notice Haruhi's true gender.]
You have no idea... Ah. That is, it's very similar to how we run things here in Vatheon. We host events for holidays, special occasions and things like that.
[A beat.]
... And then of course the times when Tamaki-senpai would think up ridiculous events for absolutely no sensible reason whatsoever.
Good afternoon, Haruhi-chan.
[T-testing, testing--]

Haruhi-chan? Interesting choice of honorifics, Arisato-san. [Cool smirk. Aaaand then a glance towards Haruhi. B)]

Hn? [She glances over] Oh hi Kyouya-senpai, Minato-san. Did you say something?

Wait... uh... what's going on?

We've only spoken a few times, no.
Sorry about that, Haruhi-chan. Just a slight misunderstanding. How are you both today?
[c: He can be plenty charming.]
Reply
Ah, I see.
I'm well, thank you. Yourself?
[Hm... Certainly he was on to Haruhi. Perhaps he should mention something to her...]

[Minato is especially charming when he's winning stuffed pigs out of claw machines for girls. =u= ]

[:|b He tries.]
This is a pleasant gathering.
[The gardens. He knows nothing about gardening, but it's neat.]
Did you do many things like this back home often?
[...it must have been expensive.]
Reply
[At least not since Haruhi had joined the club...]
We have had garden parties before, though.

How often did you have events back home? The Club must be very creative to come up with so many.

Still, it does bring people together; it's always nice to see so many people having a good time here.

[She takes a moment to look around at all of the happy, smiling guests, as well as her fellow hosts and it brings a smile to her own face.]
I guess... at the end of the day, that's what Host Club is really all about. Having a good time.

Even if he doesn't know her very well, he gets the sense that she takes things very seriously.]
I think you're right. We could all use the reminder that it can't hurt to have a good time every once in awhile, instead of just focusing on work.
