[PINGPINGPINGPINGPING

Hey if they want to know about peoples' home worlds, maybe they'll be willing to share, too! But more importantly...]

What's photography?

Taking pictures with a camera.

[holds up the small pink box hung around his neck, to gesture.]

[EWWW PINK-- nah he's actually okay with pink. He has no idea what a camera is but it sounds exciting! Trying to keep his interest out of his expression]

Can you show me?

Sure. Just this once, no charge.

[standing up and walking around to the side Onion Knight was on.

I am so sorry this has to be your first experience with photography!!!

But Tsukasa lines up a shot of him anyway, and looks down into the viewfinder of his camera before snapping a shot. Good thing is, the shutter actually closed. Bad thing? No telling if it did anytime beforehand though.

SO WE'LL SEE HOW THIS TURNS OUT]

I'll do a better one later, but your image is at least in the camera now.

[It's okay Onion Knight will still find it very magical!!]

What does that do? [What goes in has gotta come out somehow, right?] Does this mean... somehow a part of me is in the camera?

[What crazy magic is this??]

Something like that. I'm a great leader back home, with this ability of mine.

[All of the ego!!]

[Believing you! Until Onion Knight finds out your photographs are terrible, anyway.]

Oh yeah? How does that work? Did you take images of everyone and do something with them?

[Tsukasa didn't say it was because of the photography!]

I take pictures of whatever I feel like or get paid to. It's more for keepsakes and memories.

But it's only a side-job? Mostly my job is to travel. Fight a little, but mostly I create bonds with people.

[Capturing parts of people in little pink boxes totally counts as an ability!

But now Onion Knight thinks he's able to piece together what that camera does. Sort of. It spits out pictures of people! They're probably small, if they're keepsakes.]

Create bonds? Like making friends? Or meeting new people who will help your cause?

[It's like Tsukasa is speaking a totally different language!]

Making friends is the best definition. I usually solve a big problem in their world, and that means we're close.

[Tsukasa's Rider jargon is a little unsettling, admittedly.]

[LIGHTBULB! Oh! Suddenly the world-connecter on the sign makes more sense!]

So you travel to other worlds instead of getting pulled into them? Did you come to Vatheon on your own?

gotyourcard July 8 2011, 15:13:04 UTC
Vatheon is different, but usually yes, I go to them on my own.

[THE QUESTIONS. THEY WILL NEVER STOP]

So you're planning to visit other peoples' worlds when you leave Vatheon? Can you still form bonds if the big problems have already been solved?

Yeah. I'm trying to get a survey done so I know what kinds of things there are to look out for.

Can you really think of a world without problems?

[Tilting his head to the side for a bit as he thinks]

Well... no. But would you stay in a world that only has small problems left to solve?

I never stay for long.
