[Minato is...a little touched by the stars as well, even if not real. So it is that he finds himself in the planetarium as well, hands tucked into his pockets and staring up with an odd expression.

But he sees Haruhi, and so he goes to say hello, unable to just ignore her.]

They're really lovely, aren't they?

They really are...

[Blinking now, tilting her head to face Minato and giving him a small smile.]

I didn't expect to run into you here, Minato-san. [She hadn't expected to come across anyone she knew, really. Even though it was a festival, she had come alone without bothering to mention it to any of her friends.]

[A tilt of his head, and he smiles.]

It is Tanabata, after all. It's nice to be able to celebrate something from back home.

Especially since we don't usually get to see the stars down here.

It really is nice. [The celebration and the view.]

Yeah, I didn't think Tanabata would be celebrated here since Vatheon is underwater... I hadn't realized before today that there's a planetarium in the city.

I hadn't noticed it either.

[Hands tucked into his pockets, he observes the fake stars.]

...Now that I know, maybe I'll try to come here more often. It would be nice to see the stars every once in awhile.

I suppose of all people, though, Japan-san would remember Tanabata.

Heh, how weird... that such a large building would go unnoticed for so long.

[Tilting her head to gaze back up at the stars now.]

I might make a habit of coming here too. It's very relaxing.

[She looks back to him upon hearing him mention the name of an acquaintance of hers.]

You know Japan-san as well?

Well, there is a lot here. I suppose there's a lot none of us have explored.

[Mm? He nods.]

Yes, he's a very interesting...person, isn't he? I hadn't expected something like that would be possible.

[Countries as people, that is.]

That's a good point...

[If only Japan had been the first country she met... unfortunately it was Korea.]

Ah, yeah, it really is very strange... I can't even begin to understand how that whole country thing works where he's from...

[You poor thing ...ehhh.]

It is a little difficult to understand, but after everything we've seen...why not? It's good to see that our country is such an admirable person.

[Pity we seek your pity.]

True. I'm glad as well, to see that that he has turned out to be someone genuinely commendable. Unlike that Korea guy...

[Back to stargazing and reminiscing.]

... I do miss Japan. [Actually being there, that is.]

[...Korea, huh? He didn't have the pleasure (?) of meeting Korea, so he doesn't have anything to say to that. But her second statement...]

I do too, sometimes. Where in Japan are you from?

Oh, I'm from Bunkyō, Tokyo. What about you?

I'm from Iwatodai, Port Island. It's not a very large area, though. It isn't anything like Tokyo.

... Is that so...?

[ODD. Haruhi can not recall ever learning about a city called Iwatodai, despite Port Island ringing a small bell... Interesting.]

I'm not sure I've heard of it before... must be because it's relatively small, yeah? What's it like there?

It is rather small, yes. It's a quiet place compared to what you're used to, but there are some really incredible people there. I go to Gekkoukan High School there.

[It's mostly the biggest feature there.]

What is your home like?

It sounds like a really great place to live, Minato-san.

[She gives him a thoughtful smile before pausing to think about her own home.]

Busy. There are usually always people everywhere. It's rarely quiet, even at school. I'm still in the process of completing my first year at Ouran High School Academy there.
