*Okay so Fuuka had a rough month. She got turned into a human icicle then slept for weeks. Her body was sore and she needed some comfort. And what could comfort a girl's heart at times like these

[It seems like someone also had the same idea of visiting the shop as well. Though she hadn't seen the other before also reaching for the door handle at which she quickly withdraws when she does finally notice the other.]

Oh, I'm sorry! I'm afraid I didn't see you there.

Uh, i-it's okay ...

*The sudden contact had made her jump. But after blinking her surprise away, she visibly relaxes.*

You're going in there too right? We might as well go in together.

[analyzinglovers]

I should have probably still looked first.

[A small, uneasy laugh before she nods and moves to open the door, along with stepping aside.]

After you. [Since she might have been there first. Plus it's only polite, right?]

Oh. Thanks. *Fuuka smiles a small smile before going in.

The cake shop is cute as ever filled with the smell of something baking, with cute curtains and decorations. She looks back at the girl as she nears the counter.*

Are you here alone?

[Rise really had to wonder how long it had been since she last saw the inside of such a shop. And this one more than made up for that.

It also takes her a moment or so before she finally registers the questioned asked. And she's seriously hoping Fuuka means more along the lines of her being alone at the shop otherwise her answer is going to be...awkward if it's not.]

Unfortunately. I couldn't think of anyone else who would enjoy coming here. [Well probably she could have asked Souji or someone but in the end, sometimes it's just as fun to enjoy by yourself, right?]

*Since this is Fuuka we are talking about she is asking puretly out of curiosity really - although the rebound of her question catches her off guard.*

Mm .... well, I just woke up few hours ago from a long coma. *a sheepish look* I guess you could say that I didn't want to bother them when they have been so worried about me.

Oh. I am Fuuka by the way. Fuuka Yamagishi. Nice to meet you.

Were you alright? [The mention of "coma" does worry her some since that's never really a good sign.] And I can understand that a bit. Why worry them more, am I right?

I'm Rise Kujikawa. It's nice to meet you as well.

I think so. It was one of those sleep comas foreigners here go through often. *she tilts her head slightly as if testing her condition* Well, I don't feel anything out of ordinary. I should be fine.

And it looks like we think alike.

*a pause to look over at the spacious shop ... there weren't really a lot of customers.*

I-if you don't mind, would you like to share a table with me? I feel rather self-conscious taking a table by myself ...

[Well she'd heard of such things. More so hearing others over the network talking about it being some number of weeks.] That's good to know! It would be horrible to think that you caught something while you were in such a state.

I don't mind at all! Besides, eating alone just isn't as fun.

[Or at least in most cases, it isn't. And fortunately, this current one falls just under "not as fun" category.

A pause from her as well as she took to glancing back at the selection the shop had once more.]

What were you looking to get, Fuuka-san?

Mmhm! I thought so too.

*After nodding appreciatively towards Rise, Fuuka points to sweets in the center of the display fridge, decorated in kiwi.*

I was going to get that, Kiwi custard tart. It's one of my favorites here.

Then again I think I like any sweet with fruits in them. They're quite delicious.

[Once Fuuka had moved to point towards the display case, Rise's own gaze followed, pausing briefly on what Fuuka was looking to order before giving the rest of the display a look over as well.]

That definitely sounds like it would be good, Fuuka-san! I think I might just have to give it a try as well. [She hadn't actually set her mind on anything. And it never hurt to try something new at least.]

They are. Something about the mixing of fruit and sweets just seems right.

Then Rise-san should definitely try it!

*Wellp since Rise said she would like to try the same cake, Fuuka orders a piece for each of them. The owner gives them a friendly now and begins preparing. Soon enough, the trays are ready to be taken.*

Hmm ... It's still odd. Not giving money to the clerks. *She says as she grabs her tray reluctantly.*

[As the clerk prepared the slices, Rise's watching as much as one could and picking up her own tray once they're ready.]

It really is something to get used to. Though one has to wonder how they keep the places running if we're not giving them anything as payment.

*And when they settle down to a table near a window, Fuuka picks up her fork while saying.*

I heard they are taking some kind of energy from us instead of taking money. I am not sure if it's true since it was something on the network few days ago.
