[Onion Knight notices the animals first in his search . And while his first thought is that the fish creatures have brought other allies, he dismisses it quickly when he sees them working against each other. But then he hears the voice commanding them and realises, someone's out there. A pokemon trainer, maybe? They're the only people he knows in Vatheon that command creatures.

But, where--?

... they're flying?

Forget that; he can think about that later! Running towards the animals on the ground, he channels magic through his sword and calls down bolts of lightning to strike the nearest fish monsters, helping to clear the path the animals have started to make.

Waving his free arm to grab the trainer(?)'s attention (and possibly some of the fish monsters), he shouted]

This way!

[ Yellow looks a little shocked at the sudden lightning and subsequent shout, but she quickly recomposes herself before asking her Pokémon to make their way towards the boy. She's certainly more worried about the fish creatures changing targets to him, that's for sure. But what's done is done.

As Dodrio and Raticate continue to clear the path below them, Yellow, Butterfree and Pikachu do their best to make their way past the creatures. Occasionally the Pikachu attacks with lightning whenever a creature gets too close to them for their comfort.

When Yellow finally gets close enough to talk without raising her voice to high, she starts talking (and making it even more obvious she's feeling drowsy). ]

Thank you, mister... Are you okay...?

[He can take it! He's a knight! Again, he calls lightning...]

Heaven's fury!

[...striking down two more fish monsters. One gets too close for him to successfully cast another Thundaga, so Onion Knight stabs it with his sword once it's in range. It's not as effective as his spells, though, so it takes a few more stabs before the monster goes down.

When the trainer calls out, he briefly looks up. Now that the trainer is closer, he can see a boy, about his age maybe. Looking like he's close to exhaustion. Best to get him to safety; he doesn't know how well the pokemon perform without instruction.]

Don't worry about me! [He can always outrun these fish if it looks like there's too many to handle.] Just get inside a building! They don't seem to enter those!

[ Fighting back the urge to close her eyes, Yellow orders another barrage of attacks from her Pokémon meant to push everyone around them a few feet away. ]

Sorry, I overdid it... But everyone got hurt, so I had to heal them quickly.

[ She was too far from the Pokémart, and on top of that, they could follow her there... Her only choice then was to heal them all at once with her powers despite the strain. Not that she regrets it at all.

Yellow nods. She wants to argue, but well, the boy's right. With her condition, going to a building's her best course of action now. ] Thank you! Still, there's too much to handle alone for too long, so please be careful.

[Heal them--? Is this trainer a mage as well?]

I'll be fine! I can outrun these slowpokes! Just go!

[And he neatly evades the attack of another of the fish monsters, taking a few paces in a different direction to put some distance between himself and the monsters. Spells work far better in this situation, so he uses those.

But he's concerned for the trainer's safety, since he looked like he was about to fall over at any moment. So Onion Knight will be following the trainer after taking out as many of the fish monsters as he can.]

If you insist...!

[ And with that, she and her friends start heading towards one of the buildings nearby, weaving their way through the creatures while aiming attacks near the ones they need to move out of the way. Chuchu's lightning attacks work well, but their effect is diminished by her being one of the lower-leveled Pokémon in the party. Still, with Dodosk's speedy attacks and Ratty's strong teeth attacks, their combined firepower's enough to keep the fish creatures at bay ( ... )

[After the trainer leaves, Onion Knight takes down more of the fish monsters with some more well placed spells before he spots one that's larger than the others. Thundaga might not be enough to take it out in one shot, so he opts for a different, more powerful spell. Raising his sword, three beams of energy appear and converge on the large fish monster.

The monster should have been hit with an explosion.

Instead, Onion Knight's spell just fizzles out.]

What--?

[Caught by surprise, he only just manages to step back from the swipe of another fish monster. He doesn't escape unscathed, though; the attack leaves a long scratch along his bare left arm. It's a minor wound, so he's not worried, even if it stings like crazy.

The fishes are gathering again, so he turns and flees, running for the same building he saw the trainer enter, dodging fish monsters as they attacked. Hopefully no one's standing behind the building's door; he's slamming that open RPG style and slamming it back shut afterwards.]

[ That wound doesn't look good to her... She wants to stand up, but even that's a tall order for her to fill now. Her friends have worked too hard today, but she decides she has no real choice but to leave that to them for now. ]

Everyone, don't mind me, please check on him...

[ And with that, Yellow's eyes close, unable to fight off the exhaustion any longer. Dodosk, Omask and Ratty stay put where they are, but after a moment of fussing, Golosk finds a first aid kit on Yellow. Together with Chuchu and Freesk, he walks up to Onion Knight and holds it out.

From the expectant look in their eyes, it's probably safe to take it from them.]
