Well, two can play at this game. While Touko is not a king, she is a Princess, in a very pink dress, with Frills and a matching princess hat. Only, she's not walking, rather perched sidesaddle on her own steed - her Zebstrika, Blitzkrieg - one hand tangled in the mane, the other on her hip.
"What sort of request is that of a Princess?"
.. it also helps that now she has an outlet for her frustration at the desire to where a dress. With Frills.
"Ah!" He did not see that he had pointed at a woman, "I did not intend to mean you. You are but a woman. Incapable of supporting your king in the way that a man could."
He will turn abruptly away, sweeping his cape elegantly behind him. Although he can't help but look over his shoulder at her steed. What is it? He almost wanted one...
"I would break your back the moment I sat upon it."
"Excuse me? What's that even to mean?" A gentle nudge and the pokemon's following him, Touko fuming at the implication, though the curse kept her from getting too explosive. It wasn't fitting of a Princess after all. "A woman can be as plenty strong a man. We aren't all delicate flowers, your highness."
No one said that a princess can't be sarcastic and biting, though it's not proper behaviour.
"Perhaps not, but I can hardly imagine that you would be capable of supporting my weight for an entire day on your hands and knees. That's even a feat for most men. Ah, you're one of those feminists aren't you?" he said, before he sneered. Typically, Izaya would pretty much agree with Touko. Granted, he'd argue that women were mentally weaker and pliable to manipulation but this was King Orihara and he believed women belonged in the kitchen- with all due respect.
Which was outrageous but then again, coming from a monarch system, it's not surprising. "My, princess, that tone you speak with is not very complimenting to your status." He turned back around to gaze at her. "A proper queen knows when to keep her mouth shut."
this is like a train wreck. XDdarkstone_heroSeptember 6 2011, 06:44:02 UTC
In the kitchen? Oh god, don't put Touko there; the princess would burn water.. Unless you want burnt water. "Hardly. But you point indiscriminately, my lord. There are bound to be a woman or two who take offence to being so arbitrarily diminished."
She was thinking more of the stronger willed noble women than herself. Not the stupid peasantry that littered this city. She honestly did not care what they thought.
"Perhaps, but I'm yet a queen." She'd need a crown for that. Though who's want a 15 year old queen? "Though, I'm sure I could help find my King a more fitting steed than a dirty peasant."
A beautiful, beautiful train wreck >:]thetrollprinceSeptember 6 2011, 06:50:15 UTC
"Tch, I know that. And I respect women of the prestigious, royal class but do you honestly expect me to respect them?" he asked, with an abrupt nod to the average people walking about Vatheon. They were filthy, disgusting! They should be considered lucky to be in the presence of two royal people.
"You will get there one day. I have faith. You present yourself in a respectable manner. Your steed is lovely," he admitted, and glanced at the pokemon, "Though unusual. A pokemon?" Just in case it wasn't. "Could you?"
You have his actual attention now. "That would be of the most help, my Princess. I honor you for your assistance. May I get the Princess' name?"
YUS! It is so beautiful. :3darkstone_heroSeptember 6 2011, 07:16:20 UTC
"Of course not. They are beneath us." Which is true right now, but god, when this week is over, Touko was going to be horrified at some of the things she'd said.
"Thank you. I do try." A smile. At the compliment to him, Blitzkrieg gave a bit of a neigh, the sound more high pitched and like a 'Zeihhh' than anything though. "Indeed. His name's Blitzkrieg, he's a Zebstrika, native to the kingdom of Unova." ... Eh, kingdom works for a week.
"It's Touko, and there should be some stables around here. What sort of city would be without stables." An unthinkable city, of course.
This princess, perhaps, was not so bad at all. She understood. Even Izaya, whom wasn't exactly the best of people, didn't enjoy how he was speaking of his beloved humans. Granted he knew that they were merely pliable experiments but he liked to talk of them in a fond way.
He looked at the...horse and grinned somewhat. It wasn't a human horse but it still looked lovely. "Hello, Blitzkrieg! Powerful name. German, I like it."
"Do you believe so? Then let us go!" he declared excitedly because he was getting a horse. What was there not to be excited about?
"It is a pleasure to meet Princess Touko. I will remember the services you've given me today and reward you in the near future appropriately."
"German?" Blink blink. What is German. "I would not know - It's hardly Unovan though."
She laughed a little at the excitement, but nodded and nudged the Zebstrika into a walk. "Of course. No civilised city is without a stable. I wonder if they'll have Rapidash and Ponyta or just Zebstrika." Because what is a normal, human horse?
Small blush! You have flustered her, because she's hardly doing this for anything in return. "You are most kind, my lord."
"Yes. The name Blitzkrieg is incredibly German. It was a tactic used in the war to overwhelm the opposing forces. A Blitzkrieg."
"I have not a clue what either of those are but I look forward to seeing. I assume more Pokemon?" he said, and that thought alone interests him. He thought it was amusing how strange the people who hailed from the world of Pokemon were but at the same time, only wanted to investigate further.
Oh! How endearing. The lady, she blushes. "It is only fair. You are really the kind one here. So what direction are the stables located?" he asked, turning away to look this way and that before back to the Princess. "I assure you know? Or at least know where to begin?"
