[She blinks, studying him for a moment with a mildly surprised expression. It softens, though, at his question; she forces her lips into a bit of a smile and sighs.]
Y-yeah, I think so. I feel like someone knocked the wind right out of me.
[Sooo she's trying to figure out what's going on... How long was she asleep, anyway...? Jeez.]
[He rubs the back of his head and shifts around slightly.] I wouldn't know just how long off the top of my head, though. But still, that's a long time to be asleep.
If the man was mentioned in school lectures, it was probably only in passing. She certainly didn't remember any exam questions about it, but it does seem a bit familiar now that he mentions it.
...Weird.]
Y-Yeah. Well, maybe. Memory's a little fuzzy on the guy, but...at least I didn't sleep for years.
[She places a hand on her chin, thinking. Definitely not the image she got, when she thinks of your stereotypical guy. Though she knows he would not like to hear that.]
Did you know that he sews? He was actually teaching me.
Hey, watch--
[But then he realizes who he's talking to.]
--Yukari-chan! [He frowns, though.] ...You okay?

Sorry about that, it's my fault.
[He shifts a little, before speaking up again:]
Should've watched where I was going, I guess.

Wha...?
[Well, she should've been watching where she was going to, but--?]

No, I-I didn't mean you! [Pffft, she is smirking a little.] I meant--
I-I think I've been asleep for a while.

[Right. She wasn't...talking about.
Oh.]
Right. Yeah, I knew that. [Not.] What do you mean 'for a while'?
[Like a day or something?]

...I'm not sure.
But last I checked, the fish monsters were still attacking the city. Now everything's all quiet, and...different.

[He smirks.]
Maybe we can start calling you Rip Van Winkle.

[She was just so tired. Even after the nice relaxing pool party, she still passed out quite readily--
Instead of feeling rejuvenated like she'd hoped.]
I just--

You've never heard of Rip Van Winkle? You know, the guy that went to sleep and woke up years later?

[That really would have been awful.]

[Tell him about it.]
Good to see you're back in the land of the living.

Actually, it happened to Kanji-kun, too, not too long after you got here.
[Thinking back now, she remembers. Maybe it's not so unusual after all.]

[He shrugs though.]
But I always knew that guy was kind of weird anyway.

[Sounds excited like the girly-girl she is!]
