If the slamming didn't wake her up (it did), then the energy drain for the barrier did. Startled, Amane get out of her bed and almost fell down to the floor.

After she regain enough energy, she stood up and reach for her COMP. Once she's quickly readied herself, she left her room to see and help with the situation. The priestess can hear the kraken's bellow, and then the continued slamming.

So she go, looking around and seeing a tentacle.

There's a bit of an alarmed look on her face, before it's gone. Amane watches carefully, waiting for a chance where Katsu won't get hit by her spells.

Once he gets some of the flesh off, he sends a Zio spell into the injured part and jumps back, breathing hard.

It's obvious his spell hurt it a lot. Amane steps forward and send out a Holy Dance to hold back the injured tentacle, watching.

Katsu rolls his shoulders, and then sets off an Elec Dance again, his smile growing. It's too easy to get lost in just doing this sort of thing.

While that electrical spell strike, Amane take that time to quickly press something on her COMP. A moment later, another Elec Dance joins in as well. It...might smell a little from the tentacle.

With another Holy Dance, the tentacle shudders, and then falls limp, dead. Katsu turns to Amane, and his smile disappears as he tries to pull himself back into his right mind.

'I can't let her see me like this.'

He backs up, and turns, starting to run off.

She looks over at Katsu, and blinks when he backs up. It's when he runs off that she snaps out of it.

'What...' "Katsu, wait!"

Amane runs after him, trying to catch up.

He flinches, and turns around, staring at her with red eyes.

"... Yes, Amane?"

"...Will you be alright?"

She saw how he fought just now, and the look in his eyes.

"... I think so. I just used too much power."

He hopes that's all it is, at least.

"...Don't overexert yourself."

She doesn't want him to pass out. Or worse.

"Don't forget to take your own advice."

He smiles a little bit. He's worried about her, too.

"I won't."

She might forget in all the action, but she'll try to keep it in mind.
