[Riku had just been passing by when he realized that there was a figure on the ground, and another knelt beside him. It was hard to see, but he didn't smell any injuries-just two hearts.]

...He'll be fine.

[It's muttered as he approaches, hood up. Not to seem suspicious, but he does offer a towel or two. It always took extra to dry off, especially with how thick their strange clothing - like he's one to talk, though. Really.]

[The voice caused Obi-Wan to glance over-- and all it took was the glimpse of a black hooded figure to make him rise to his feet and eye the stranger pointedly. Subtle though the movement was, he had a hand near his lightsaber. Just in case. He wasn't in the business of jumping to conclusions, but in his world, there were only a few that walked around in wardrobe like that. He couldn't help but be wary.]

Who are you?

[He doesn't move to take the towels just yet. Nope. He's going to stand there and squint suspiciously instead.]

[He held out his other hand, attempting to show that he meant no harm. A rather difficult thing, with his face being completely hidden in shadow. He can see that - is it some sort of weapon? - object the others' hand is hovering by, but he doesn't say anything about it. This isn't the first time he'd been threatened.]

A foreigner that was brought here, just like you.

[Riku kept his calm, yet at the same time he was ready to jump back as quickly as his own power would allow and summon his blade. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.]

[It's about this time that a certain older man actually wakes up and realizing upon actually waking up that something is considerably amiss. The most telling is the fact he's quite literally soaked through, from head to toe. Also telling is the silence around him, there's not a sound of the violence that there should have been if he'd been anywhere close to just where he had been before he'd apparently blacked out.

Rising to his feet, Qui-Gon cautiously studied the black cloaked figure. He knew whom was beside him without actually looking and thus for the time being kept his eyes on what might possibly be an enemy, despite the fact the black garment looked more akin to a hooded coat than the robe the Sith had been wearing on Tatooine. However, since they hadn't been attacked yet, he decided to gamble on the chance the man before them wasn't an enemy.]

My name is Qui-Gon Jinn. Do you know just where here is? And just why we've been brought here?

[How they had been brought was also foremost in his thoughts as well, but that could ( ... )

[The price of reconnaissance and being the one who sought power of any kind: automatically being suspected of ill intent due to how one dresses. His gaze drifts to the elder of the two, attempting to read him from the shadows as he did everyone. Not an easy feat, yet he didn't sense anything to be wary of...

Believing that an attack unprovoked and still being worn out from the constant struggling over the last few weeks, the young man spares a nod as he tosses the towels to both of them. Think fast.]

Riku. [A beat.] We're in an underwater city called Vatheon. As for why, the facts are rather askew.

[At least he was honest about it.]

[Now, Obi-Wan knew better than to let his guard down around strangers, but he could hardly help staring when Qui-Gon rose to his feet in (mostly) perfect health and talking. It would have been easy to tell himself this were a very vivid and strange dream, but when ever did he take the easy way out? It went without saying that he was overwhelmed, but refusing to let himself get swept away by the strangeness of it all, he focused on the stranger who called himself Riku in time to catch the towel.

He frowned, trying not to let his disappointment in the lack of reason for their being here show.] ...This must be a very powerful place it knows no bounds where taking people is concerned. What are we expected to do while we're here?

Where... and when. [He gave a faint nod, and with both hands empty now he reaches up to his hood. He pulls it down, revealing his young and battle-weary face. He was always wary to be showing it, not to mention his still-hidden eyes...]

All I've gathered is that they expect us to exist here and deal with whatever is thrown at us.

[Qui-Gon caught the towel with a nod of thanks, though he refrained at the moment from putting it into use. Hearing Obi-Wan speak beside him had drawn his attention briefly off the younger pale-haired man beside him, and he would have likely wondered if he was again seeing visions or not of his Padawan's future, if not for Riku's following statements.

Turning his attention and gaze back toward Riku, he considered the latter statement quietly for a moment. Keeping his expression calm and serene, despite the confusion and the desire to demand that those whom had pulled them here, return them. He didn't much care for the idea that they had been pulled to this place for someone's whimsy.]

Just what can we expect to be thrown at us?

[It was truly difficult to say what would happen in the near future. The only help he can give is to watch and wait from the shadows, like he has for so long while laying low back in his own universe. All he knew is... it was long overdue that something would happen.]

Almost anything can happen. Even the most innocent of events can lead to something tragic. [...It's a good thing he still had that blindfold on.] People gaining powers that weren't their own, changing into creatures they aren't naturally... I even heard of things crashing into the barrier and becoming part of the city itself.

From what I've seen, the same thing never happens twice.
