[He'd managed to avoid it for such a long time.]
[It could only have been luck. He'd seen the mistletoe and its effects, and while the symbolism of such a thing was lost on the samurai he'd quickly learnt that the plant was to be avoided, if at all possible. There were certain things that he did not consider proper and he would not want to embarass himself or another with random kisses.]
[Trips out had proved fine, for a while. But now the mistletoe had 'found' him.]
[It was awful. The urge had been something he could deal with at first, but every time he passed another person and resisted giving in to it, it got stronger. It was a good thing the route he was taking back to the flat was relatively quiet, because the few souls he had passed already had him feeling completely and utterly overwhelmed. It was difficult to think about anything but kisses. Anything. The last bit of resolve he had left in him was getting him home and hoping he could just close the door to his room and sleep the feeling off.]
[After walking the last bit of the journey, Mitsuhide finds himself in front of his and Motochika's flat. Gritting his teeth somewhat, he slips inside as quietly as possible and closes the door behind him.]
