Joshua had taken to wandering Vatheon. It was strange, having so much free time. He almost didn't know what to do with himself, frankly. But there were plenty of people to talk to while he was enjoying this impromptu vacation, and he'd enjoy it for as long as he didn't tire of it.
He watched this woman at a distance where he could both see what she was doing and deter conversation for a while. But when she took out the 'gun' and held it to her head, Joshua decided he'd make his presence explicitly known by approaching her.
"You don't seem like the kind of person who would take their own life."
Mitsuru was unsure what he meant at first, then she realised that to an outsider, it looked like she was holding a gun to her head. She was so used to the motion of putting the evoker to her head and pulling the trigger that she forgot how it could be perceived. The Evoker is lowered from her head and she looks at it.
"Oh, this isn't what it looks like. I'm not trying to kill myself."
"Is that so?" Now he was terribly curious. "Then what are you trying to do? After all," he added with a shrug, "Guns are made for killing, or incapacitation, at the very least."
"This only looks like a gun." Mitsuru holds it up. It is very much is a gun in shape, form and design. "The function is fundamentally different."
No need to go into that just yet, but she is eyeing this person carefully. Why was he curious over this seemingly (in her eyes) motion? But then again, if she someone put a gun to their head who categorically wasn't a Persona user, she would be curious too.
Joshua had all the appearance of being a casual conversationalist. A hand was in his pocket while the other was loosely curled by his cheek.
"Really? And what would that function be? I do hope it isn't to scare passers-by." He put a hand over his heart, continuing in a lightly teasing tone, "I'm not sure my heart could take it if you pointed your fake gun at me."
"I don't think it works here." said Mitsuru with a certain assurance to her words. "That's why I keep bringing it to my head. It's meant to summon a being to help me."
Joshua arched an eyebrow, a hand curling by his cheek. "My, someone has quite the morbid sense of humour." He sounded more amused than anything, but he was rather curious about this method of 'summoning'. "Summoning through the simulation of suicide? Seems rather extreme."
[ooc: Mind filling out this guy's Permission Post? Mostly I'd like to know if he can sense Mitsuru's Persona :3 ]
