[ Joshua doesn't hold Christmas in quite as high a regard as some of the people in Vatheon, but he can appreciate festivities. But it does remind him that he's not back in Shibuya, where he should be. He doesn't have much else to do than to people watch these days, so when he sees a girl looking indecisive as she picks through decorations, he approaches her with his hands in his pockets. ]

If you're going for a snowman, I'm sure you won't find one classier than that one.

[ He gestures towards a snowman wearing Professor Layton's a top hat. ]

[She turns upon hearing the voice, spotting the apparently young looking boy or girl approaching her. Her attention diverts to said snowman easily enough, and she laughs, though she's not quite sure who this boy is. Meeting new people every day, she supposes.]

I was going for a stocking first, actually. But yeah--now that you mention it, the Volo Dorms could use something like that.

[She might have to make a few...adjustments, though. :V She's just gonna walk on over to inspect it, to see how difficult that would be...]

[That's a good question, actually. And she's realizing it more and more, as he approaches her. She thinks about it some, and--well, really, aren't presents what everyone expects? Stocking or not, she'd say it's kind of an important part of the tradition by now.]

I dunno, really. But some of the natives seem to really want us to hang 'em up. Heh--maybe they wanna put something inside, when the time comes.

[Oho. Hello, there. Yukari's just going to peer over and look in the box, then, examining it.]

Hm. I think it should be enough. [It's a bit hard to tell, but then, they could always come back. She starts to look around some more, distracted from the stockings somewhat.] Wonder what else we should pick up...

--Oh! To hang on our door...good idea.

[She looks around, then, skillfully avoiding the locals who'd been trying for the umpteenth time to get her to grab a stocking. Heh, it's not her fault they didn't have one she likes--but she can probably pick one by the time they're done. It is sort of part of Christmas, too, after all, to have one...

It's just not important right now.

She spots a display of wreaths, and quickly makes her way over to it with a bob of her head.]

I think I see some over there.

[There is an Akihiko on the roof of the dorm. He's been stringing up Christmas lights along the windows and the eaves. He's holding a few coloured lightbulbs by the end in one hand, one currently between his teeth and the other hand is awkwardly trying to hang the string of lights on a nail he'd put in. Unfortunately for him, the task of putting the lights on said nail is more difficult than it should be, the cord being awkwardly stubborn.

He finally manages to get it to stay up, taking the lightbulb out of his mouth to shout down-]

Hey, someone plug these in - give them a try!

[After all the effort of putting them up, ff one of these bulbs is burnt out, he swears...]

[Yukari's been watching him for a while, feeling rather useless actually--so she's glad when she finally gets a signal to do something. She'd been nervously watching him, wondering if he'd fall, but he seems to be taking good care of himself so far! Good balance and everything, just like you'd expect from someone who trains as frequently as he does.

Hurriedly, she tears her attention away from him to go plug in the lights. She glances up to see if it's worked, though she can't really tell from where she is--
