[Really, Zelda should probably just officially join the welcoming committee. She does so love to explain things (she'd have to in order to put up with Link!).]
Oh, my. You're soaked, aren't you?
[She grabs a towel from one of the nearby vendors, putting it on his shoulders.]
There you are. Would you like to find somewhere to sit down? Where you are isn't a question that can be answered simply.
[Thankfully, the plaza of Vatheon is well-stocked with towels. It's especially needed now that it's actually cold for whatever reason. She selects a couple more, heading into the welcoming center and gesturing for the boy to sit down.]
This is the city of Vatheon. It is located underwater on an unknown planet. Are you following so far?
Orihara Izaya was truly the last person that should have been approached to ask for help. Granted, it'd be impossible to tell from the seemingly genuine smile that grew on his mouth the moment he heard that unsteady, shy voice. Vatheon really was treating him lately, wasn't it? Izaya had simply been passing through and hadn't paid too much mind to the boy. Not until he spoke anyway
( ... )
Something was telling him it might be better not to approach this person, but as the man greeted him with a smile and turned out to be as kind as to offer him his own jacket, Ruca immediately dismissed all the wariness he felt at first
( ... )
"Un yeah. A world that collects from other worlds. Pretty selfish, huh?" he said, "You'll meet a lot of strange people from just as strange worlds. It can be really fun but a lot of people get upset because it's pretty unknown to if or when you'll ever go back home," he said. That part was usually the worst and most difficult for people to accept so Izaya figured it'd be best to put it on the table at once.
"Ruca Milda," Izaya echoed, burrowing the name into memory. This kid...He seemed like there was some potential for some fresh, invigorating fun.
"Ah yeah, no problem. It's been through worse," he said, waving off the appreciation. As long as he got it back, a little water wouldn't do anything to it.
"Eh? Yeah, you wouldn't. No one really ever does. I don't really like to use the word magic but that really is the only potential way, if you ask me. I used to study the whole theory of multi-verse, although honestly this doesn't really even make sense with that. That would suggest other selves, which there clearly are none yet here
( ... )
"Being able to meet people form different worlds sounds fun, but... I can't stay here." he said, worry visible in his voice. What if he'll be stuck here for months? After such a long time, he might have no world to return to! "...Isn't there any way we could go back
( ... )
Kohaku heard him and looked back at the boy, turning around and offering him a gentle smile. Poor guy, he was new ... luckily, the curse she'd been afflicted with had worn off today, leaving her able to talk to him without singing.
"You must be new," She said with a small, sheepish laugh. She had explained this to new people before, but it never got any easier.
"You might want to sit down. Or ... wait, no, let's go over to that store over there. They have towels, and ... you look like you could use one right about now." She pointed in the direction of the store.
"We may be able to find a place to sit there, too. I can tell you as much as I know about what's going on here."
( ooc: Hello darling ~ ♥ Sorry this took me so long. :'D )
"We can work at getting you some dry clothes, too," Kohaku mused aloud as she led Ruca in the direction of that nearby store.
"I guess I should probably start explaining what's going on, though ... just promise not to pass out on me or anything when I tell you, all right?" That last part was halfway a joke, actually. Most everyone she had encountered hadn't reacted that strongly when they were told, but there was always the chance that someone could.
"You're not in your own world anymore. This place is called Vatheon."

...Thank you.
[He starts to rub his hair with the said towel. Though, that towel alone probably won't be enough, considering how soaked he is...]
Ah... if it's not a problem... [that means yes.]

Y-yes, I am, but... [he hesitates.] I don't understand one thing... How did I get here?

As the girl pointed the direction of the store, he nodded.
"Y-yes... I could really use a towel." Or a few actually, seeing how soaked he was.
[ooc: Hi dear ♥ Don't worry about that! I wanted to replied earlier, but lj didn't want to work for me... ]
