[Zelda had been unable to sleep. She kept having strange, foreboding dreams that she couldn't decipher. She finally gave up when it was so late that it could almost be considered morning, wandering towards the plaza aimlessly.]
...sir? Are you alright? Goddesses, I had no idea the city pulled people so late at night...
[ That voice startles him, and he turns abruptly to see the woman standing there. Her disposition the complete opposite as his own, quite lovely really. Charley runs a hand through his hair, doing his best to straighten the mess it had become from being so wet. ]
Did I disturb you? [ Note to self: he's certainly not home any longer. ] Please forgive me. I think I'm lost, and I seem to have misplaced my shoes.
[Jack's excuse? Nightmares. They didn't come often these days but, when they did, they promised that he wouldn't be going back to bed that night. So, he'd decided to walk; he had plenty to think about, at least.
What he wasn't expecting was the arrival of a new person. In all his time here, he'd never met someone who had arrived so late...or was it early? Either way, Jack strode up to the handsome young man, pulling a towel from his coat pocket. Good thing he'd replaced the one he'd given to that Maddie girl earlier.]
Never heard of this place taking shoes before, but I'm sure they're around. Here, might need this.
[ He regards the man who approaches him out of night with the same caution as he does any stranger. Perhaps a bit more when he offers him the towel. Just what sort of person is he? Charley waits, staring between his face and the towel before slowly taking it out of his hand. ]
Uh. Thanks...
[ Charley's usually much more articulate than that, but he's had A Day. His smile is a little wary. ]
My chances of finding them may be slim. I might have to invest in a new pair.
Possibly. Luckily, for this place, 'investing' isn't a big deal. You'll find that, when the shops are open, everything's free here. It's actually pretty convenient.
[He offers a smile, attempting to show the man Jack meant him no harm but, he didn't blame the guy for being on-edge.]
Free? Hardly anything is free, and if it is, there has to be a catch.
[ He can't help the way he snaps, miserable and wet and not in the mood to have pleasant conversation. Charley gingerly wipes his face with the almost forgotten towel and glances around him, suddenly feeling sheepish. ]
[It had been a little while since he'd taken a walk on his own and, especially, one so early. An amusing thought since this would be a normal hour for him but, these days, there were no normal hours. He was up when he wanted and down when he got too exhausted to keep his eyes open.
Naturally, with it being so late, he didn't expect anyone to be up. Maybe Sara...but not even Crowley would be up this early. That's why the sight of a person, even at this distance, was surprising.]
[And then he was running and throwing himself into Charley's arms, not even hesitating with the kiss he placed on Chris' lips. Johnny was so stuck on the thought his Chris was there that he didn't even notice the changes...for now..]
[Like every morning Rayfell went out for another walk. It helped her clear her mind and relax, though she was fairly okay with the place now. Everything started to become a routine but something that wasn't in her new routine was a certain vampire showing up.
Standing near the fountain she watches him for a moment before she moves over to him. She might as well have some fun...before she wonders what happened to the man's normal appearance. Arms wrapping around his waist she rests her chin on his shoulder.]
[ It's not what he's expecting when he's standing there, looking around and trying to gain some bearing on the situation. There are few people in his life who have no respect for personal boundaries, but he's not home. So, it's not the first conclusion he falls on.
He grips a wrist and tries to push those arms away. ]
I don't know who you are, but you shouldn't greet people like that.
[ Eventually, he turns to look over his shoulder, and seeing that face- Master? It makes him lock up, but for only a moment. He can feel just how un-Master this person is against his back. ]
[She pouts at the comment and re-grabs his wrist, not about to be pushed away. Though when he realized who it was she smirks softly and moves to wrap her arms around his neck.]
I've been here about a month almost now, Cherry. Not happy to see me again?

[She pauses before speaking again, eyes on the softly glowing coral in the plaza.]
You aren't lost in the traditional sense of the word. You were brought here.

[ Somehow. He hesitates before continuing, feeling even more confused than before. ]
Brought here? I'm sorry, Miss, but I don't recall anything like this happening before. Unless it's magic...
