Philip rested his book against his knees, his eyes flicking from side to side as he read, his fingers wrapped around his mug of already-cold coffee. (A pity) The window by the couches was open, letting in a few rays of water-filtered sunlight to fall on the pages of his book as he read.
The agency was empty, quiet. He wasn't 100% certain where the others had gone. He had caught fragments of conversation, titbits of information on their locations --showing Terui Ryuu around town, finding new cases, finding more information-- but he had all let it pass him by. It didn't matter. They were not far and this way he could catch up on some long overdue research.
