What's this everyone's talking about? What happened in Diagon Alley? I wish I could be there to be of some help. Only a few more days, though, and I'll have a chance to talk to all of you.
Have you heard any of this news? Susan said something over the parchments, but I didn't understand all of it, and something tells me that it's much worse than she's letting on. If she even knows what's going on.
How are you, by the way? I've been horribly distracted, and so I ask you to forgive me. Let me treat you to something. Maybe a bowl of my own, non-exploding curry, or something that's actually edible?

And I kissed him. I kissed him, Lav! What was I thinking? I wasn't! Not at all! What if he never wants to give me Quidditch lessons again, or even speak to me? What if I've made a complete and utter fool out of myself?
I have to stop panicking. I need to think calmly, rationally, Padma-like.
