Yesterday, I officially withdrew from SCAD. I left in good standing, so I can come back any time within the grace period without having to reapply. Just sign up for class like nothing happened. I'm hoping I can come back for the Spring quarter. I'm getting treatment in Savannah, so I won't be moving back to TN

Though this would also mean that the commission you made for me was done under the conditions described above, and it turned out very awesome indeed and I wouldn't have known your drawing arm was in major pain at the time. Wow. You're an amazing individual.

TO BE FAIR TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUGGESTED YOU TRY YOUR RIGHT HAND! It takes a lot of time and effort, but you can develop skill and control in your non-dominant hand, to the point of full ambidexterity. So it's not a completely idiotic suggestion, but definitely not an ideal one.

Yes, I know that it's possible in theory. It would also take longer than rehab to just fix the damn problem. So I still think it's an idiotic suggestion, and one that ignores the actual problem. My arm is completely fucked from a spine injury and needs to be fixed.

THIS, however, is not completely moronic. I love you, am thinking of you, and hope everything works out for the best. Oddly enough, my roommate, a singer, just suffered a terrible vocal injury, involving an incredibly invasive surgery on her vocal folds. So I'm incredibly sensitive to art-inhibiting injuries. I know it's incredibly frustrating, but take things as they come. Again, love you, crazy girl!
