Just a little holiday one shot that popped into my head.
Title: The Importance of Being on Top

Summary: Severus has what Remus needs...
Remus was hanging up the last of the ornaments on the large pine tree when he heard the tell tale slam of the door. Severus was right on task, as usual.
"Remus? Where in Merlin's name are you?"
"Over here, Severus! You got here just in the nick of time."
Severus clutched a brown paper bag to his chest and smirked at the graying werewolf.
"This? Is this what you require, Lupin?"
"Yes! I'm relieved you were able to make it on such sort notice. I've never been good at that sort of thing, you know. I just don't have the hands for it. May I have it, please?"
"And why should I do that? I stand to gain nothing from all my hard work if I simply hand it over."
"I really appreciate the time you put into, Severus. But it's not as if I laid around the house all day. I've been busy decorating, every since I learned Harry and his friends where coming for a visit."
"I still fail to see why I should give this to you for nothing."
"If you don't, it will ruin the holiday for me, Severus. Besides, everyone is expecting it."
"WHO? Potter? It is not as if he would realise something was missing. That boy has absolutely no sense of his surroundings."
"Please, Severus? Please?"
Remus hated to beg, but he knew the Potions Master could not stand it when he started to whine. His theory paid off when the brown paper bag was suddenly thrust into his hands.
"Next time, Remus, make your own bloody star."
