End of a busy weekend

We're knackered. It's been a long weekend. I had a clash of performances. I had already dropped out of the Ellendune Entrtainers' show this time around, but I had lent them some of my sound kit, so I wanted to make sure it was all working and would so, without me. It did, yay.

I was playing with the WCO on Saturday evening. We played in Malmesbury Abbey, which was nice but boomy. I was mostly playing 3rd horn, but doubled as lead saxophone where it was needed. It went well enough. The scariest bit was when the piano soloist left a bar out in the final section of the Grieg. It became a question of how long it was before each section realised. Of course the horn section were early realizers.

Next weekend looms up next. I am chairing the Camcairndryth AGM, which shouldn't in itself be a great issue. I ought to run a Sheriff's court in teh revel that follows though. If anyone that is coming has any ideas for that, I'd appreciate a bit of input. I'd like to fill half an hour or so before we get people up dancing.
