Oregon is crazy.  You can't pump your own gas and there are trees everywhere.  And my town, Eugene, seems to be one of the stranger towns here.  This weekend was the Oregon Country

Glad to hear you are safe and sound in Eugene, and that it's awesome. Come to think of it, your location sounds a lot like mine, but I only have one hippie grocery store within walking distance, and no proper burrito joint. So you totally win.

Full Sail is a great brewery...if I rember right, they make Sessions, which is probably the best budget beer ever. Plus, they come in cute little vintage-style bottles. I like their better beers also. Haven't tried Deschutes yet.
