Mac Advice?

I'm looking for a Mac-equivalent of AutoHotKey - a keyboard/mouse macro utility. I use it to map keys to click Windows GDI Controls (i.e., buttons) within an application (Adobe Lightroom) that does not have any way to assign hotkeys to those buttons ( Read more... )

I have not. From your brief description it sounds like it could do everything I need, but I suppose I didn't constrain my requirements well enough- It still has to be within a reasonable level of effort (the less the better). So if there's an app that can more easily do window object manipulation I'll go with that right now since my needs are very specific and I don't foresee my needs growing much.

However, that's great info and I'll store it away for future reference! :)

Automator was going to be my suggestion too, but you're already heading down that exploratory trail.

If I'm able to map it to a dynamic object, how responsive is it? I'm using a gamepad (like those Nostromo pads) to rapidly adjust values in Lightroom. Do you know if Automator can process keypresses within ~200ms?

That I don't know... I do very little with it that's anywhere close to that time sensitive.
