Where to begin? It isn't as if I've been a very active LJer for quite a long time in terms of posting or commenting. Don't think that I haven't been reading, because I most assuredly have been. I've been doing stuff up there for awhile now. (They've just set up the Undergraduate Program for Homeschoolers which I have helped to set up.) It is a really fantastic college, but I wish it was still live-on. If I could stay on campus for my BA, I would in a minute. What's your connection to Goddard?

Just a survey of the job market for English professors, which I am. I studied as many places as I could when applying. Funny thing was, offers came from places I never bothered to study. Ended up at the U of Houston Downtown, where I am now learning to adjust my Bay Area expectations to Texan realities. (Walk out of Borders: across the street is Hooters. It's that kind of place.)

A good friend of mine used to attend U of H, Downtown. She had a lot of good professors there.

I hate you.
Rehearsal for CCSC, by the way, was god-awful. The only rehearsal ever to surpass it in mismanagement was the Sound of Music dress last night. This was one of those times when I was glad you weren't there... half the choir and all directors involved would have been dead in five minutes.
