( Sam and Simon are still in the upper levels when water starts bubbling up into the basins of the laboratory their minder is showing them. She does her best to ignore it, until a column of water actually shoots up to the ceiling from the sink right next to her; Sam doesn't have to feign surprise as the three of them scramble back to the corridor. )

SN and Firefly are two of my favorite things! I'm loving the character voices that I hear in your crossover and your ability to mesh the worlds... quite an achivement! I have to admit that when I first tuned into your orignal story (Eurydice) I was hoping that Dean and Sam would show up, cuz I figured that Dean and Jayne could get into heaps of trouble together. They both have incredibly child-like senses of humor, love play pranks, and love to love the ladies. (Or whores, for Jayne) I was a tad (pls don't take this wrong, it's totally just my opinion) dissapointed to see how much Dean mistrusted Jayne, though he did appreciate blowing things up.
If these boys just spent some down time together, much mayhem would ensue!

Looking forward to the next installment...

No, no thank you for commenting! I'm so happy to hear that people like this crazy thing!

I think that Dean tends not to trust people outside the family unit, at least at first -- but I know that now that he and Jayne have bonded a little over violence, they will get along fine. And there will almost certainly be mayhem, because realy, it's Dean and Jayne. How could there not be?

The next bit is coming. Really.

Oh thank god!! I don't have the talent to write what you're doing here, so I'm very invested in the ensuing mayhem! It's actually your fault, cuz that pairing would have never occured to me unil I started reading your posts, but once it did occur to me, I was ALL OVER that idea! Strange, since John is my favorite, uh? I guess that I just love Dean's sense of humor, and I love Jayne's....... mind?.....intelligence?.....Empahty for others?..... aw screw it, I love his muscles.
Thank you for writing all of this, and I'll be back for the next story!

The rest of the caper is coming! Maybe by tomorrow, if I'm lucky. (I forgot how much teaching takesout of me.) I can't leave them all in peril much longer.
