Is it okay for a 21 year old to date a 30 year old? Why or why not?

i think its ok because 21 year old guys don't wanna be settled down with a girl-friend/a 30 year old is getting tired of the single life and may want a serious relationship.

umm... legally it's fine. It could seem a little sketchy that he might be trying to take advantage or something... but if it's something you want to do (and you're not being manipulated... not that I'm saying you are). If it's a healthy relationship, I see no problem with it.

at the point in which one can not ask either party "what grade/year are you in?", I don't think that age is a serious problem. I agree with Spazerrific in the sense that the reason why we as a society wince at significant age differences while we are so young is that its implied that manipulation is a possibility. So, who is the 30 yr. old? Does he have a name? Or was this just hypothetical.
