i just read an email my mom forwarded me from one of her closest friends...
email subject : "Okay I have been thinking all night and all morning

I have given a lot of thought to Jennifer You know I am not trying to interfere but heres some things to think about (or throw in the trash) Hee
If Jennifer stays home
1) What is she going to do? If she gets a job something to think about is she will be working with worldly people and getting Christian influence at home and church only
2) Is there anything that is going to be offered to her at our church She will now be out of the youth group Will she go into the class where she will be mixed in on activities with the young marrieds??
3) Is there any young men her age here that would be good boyfriend/husband material?? Whats the odds of her meeting the "right" kind of guy in a job here? (I know were not looking at that right now but it is what Jennifer wants to do is get married stay home and have little ones. (I'm not knocking that by any means)
4) What if she gets married and I pray this never happens her husband dies and she would have to get a job with just a high school education we don't want her flipping burgers so an education would be good to fall back on if she ever needed it.
5) Idle hands do get into mischief
Now if Jennifer goes to college this year
1) She will be around other freshmen that will be just as homesick and they will gravitate to each other. Also don't forget about this girl that Randy knows.
2) She will be around other Christians that are wanting to do something for the Lord.
3) She would meet young Christian men that are there to do something for the Lord (who knows she could be a Pastors or Missionaries wife.
4) She wouldn't be just going to a job and coming home with nothing to do.
5) She could get involved in sports etc at the college
6) She could get into ministries at the church there.
7) She only needs to look at it at a quarter of semester at a time.
I honestly think Carol, Jennifer would grow and mature at school. Now these are just things to think about Please don't think I'm trying to interfere. Lil Randy wanted to stay home a year and he has thanked us many times over that we had him go. He said he wouldn't of met Christen They were in classes together.
