How far of a train ride is it from your place to prague?

our train ride was 5 hours long with one transfer in between, but the scenery was well worth the wait! AND if you buy your tickets in advance, it only costs 40€ (~$40) roundtrip-

it would be much faster to drive there, but we've heard stories of corrupt prague border police.....

thanks! from leipzig, it's 5 hours by train, and probably about 4 hours by car, but one must beware of border police...
