My reviews are stories in and of themselves. Latest = 512 words. *rollseyes*

I've found that once you start reviewing long, it's hard to stop. You notice more things when you're reading to review ... and you get in a rambling mode that's very difficult to get out of. =)

Story update! Because I didn't feel like making another post.

I'd say for Wreckage if you're running short on subplots to look in the Challenge forum or something. Probably won't find a lot, but dunno, you might find something that interests you. When I read it I'll tell you if there's anything that I think would be really interesting to read. Although my brain is pretty much dead right now (when isn't it?) so that probably won't happen.

(Chinese dynasties... All I remember are Han, Zhou, and Qin or whatever. And I think there was a Ming, too, but I don't remember what it did. I remember Kublai Khan had one but I don't remember the name... yeah, I have no clue how I got through that AP test.)

You're such a good reader. =) Really, I love your opinions.

How'd you do? The kid in the class who read half the textbook (if that - he used to joke about how high he could go on the quizzes without even reading, and to tell the truth, he was a pretty good guesser) got a five, but somehow, even after all of my major freakout studying, I got a four. Don't forget Xia! They're disputed, but I remember them. Then Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han (you should at least remember the first five ... remember, Qin built the wall but there was inner turmoil so they lasted about fifteen years, leading the way to Han's success as a protected, internally strong dynasty ... for a while, at least), Sui, Tang, Song (these three just sound snappy together), Yuan (Kublai Khan), Ming (Zheng He sailed the Indian Ocean Basin to instill fear in Chinese technology ... but the Portugueuse showed up and were like, yeah, we have ships with cannons. I've always loved that line in my textbook. I pointed it out to my now-graduated-HP-and-Office-obsessor-who-hates-newspaper- ( ... )

BTW, Zheng He failed to do anything more because the government was off giving funding to wars against outside invaders, back from being kicked out at the end of the Yuan. HE didn't want to do much other than show off, but that's like the reason that the Chinese didn't dominate the seas and technology. Other people were jealous and attacked! That was our first practice DBQ. Remember, Europeans = tinkerers. That will give you backup for any statement.

Now that you mention all of those things I remember most of them. Wasn't there another dynasty at the time of the Song, to the north or whatever? I can't remember which one that was. The Qin I remember because of that and legalism, and I remember Zheng He and his humongous treasure ships (can't remember if that's the exact term). China was my weak point, but I was still able to kind of bluff my way through it. I got a five. We didn't do too much with our textbooks - mostly just the notes. I did read the entire Barrons AP book the week before the test, though.
