i gave up on birthdays a while ago. it seemed that all parties i would have would end disastrous, so i decided to stop having them and stop worrying about my birthday.

How do you except people to love you if you keep them at a distance, or expect them to do whatever you ask of them? It doesn't work that way. Love is a privilage, not a right. I'm sorry that your family hasn't exactly shown you love, but that doesn't give you the right to take it out on the three of us. We do what we can for you, but you act like we've done nothing to help
