С пандой до сих пор не могут разобраться - медведь это или енот. Проанализировав белки крови панды, ученые определили, что панда все-таки медведь, то есть относится к семейству Ursidae. Она не похожа на остальных медведей, ближе всех к пандам очкастый медведь, но он встречается очень редко. Латинское название панд означает "черно-белый, с кошачьими

Nice post,vgika! i sure can relate to your interest in those black-and-white creatures... watched them for hours in Atlanta, GA.. them peacefully chewing bamboo.. me reflecting on yin and yang semiotics and the design of panda hide..
