Sitting in the Waiting Room of Hell

That is where I feel that I am.

In 2000-20001 I ruined my hands.  Most of you may recall something about that.
I was working as an IT Tech and doing arts/crafts stuff at every opportunity.  I basically just wore my hands out.

You may recall the pain, swelling, bitterness, tears of frustration, hatred of everyone who could tie their shoes without ( Read more... )

depression, health, teaching, work, sewing

Go to eBay and get one of these.
Use it (and nothing but it) for maybe two months until you get used to it.

None on eBay at this point.

However, on Amazon I found one for the low price of $1,400.

Ack.

If I were going to be making my career typing all day, I would definitely get one. I know that you love yours :) and I know that it would be worth the investment. Unfortunately, at this point it isn't feasible for me.

*pouts* When are the new owners going to reinstate this product?

They did, it's called an iPhone. I doubt that Apple will ever remake the keyboard.
$1400 is pretty ridiculous, most of the ones on eBay go for half that.

Sorry to hear that the pain is back, love. Mine have been acting up over the last two weeks. The weather (up, down, up, down) has been the culprit for me.

Take care and let me know if you need anything.
Hugs,
Lise

I think the weather affected me to a degree.

:( I hope yours feel better. Is the weather stabilizing yet?

I really want to sew, but know it would be a bad idea. *pouts*

It looks like I'll be at Defending the Gate doing my best impression of an MOL. I'm going to have to find something to keep my hands occupied while at the table. That way I won't wander off if the conversation isn't stimulating enough.

I get really fidgety when I'm in one place for too long.

YES! Take something small (and not harmful) to do. Sometimes the MOL can be rather dull. Other times, quite exciting.

Until the weather finally decides that it's going to stay warm (and maybe not until after we get a good rain), mine will continue to be achy. *sigh*
