I just returned from a 2-day visit to Boston. I got to see half of the commencement ceremony at Emerson. I missed John Kerry's keynote speech. Ah well

Does it have to be a play that you adapt? If not, then try looking at some out-of-copyright short stories or novels. A lot of those types of things can be found online as e-books since the copyright has expired.
Also, a heck of a lot of stuff is archived on Project Gutenberg. I'm not sure if they have plays, but it's worth a look, at any rate.
