Awesome, I love this. The whole trilogy is fantastic, but this one really got to me.

I suck. I spent most of the fic secretly hoping that Ray would get to Fraser, though I pretty much already knew it wouldn't happen. Not that it wasn't a GREAT fic, wow, terrific imagery in there and in spite of myself you had me emapathizing with Vecchio. It's sweet, how he is with Kowalski, all the obvious patience and love there. Even if I'm dying to know what Fraser said on the answering machine.

Awesome fic.

I get the feeling that you'll not be the only one with the secret hope! But Vecchio definitely deserves his man, I think.

The whole answering machine thing - I have this whole backstory worked out in my head from the first part of the trilogy, why Ray's back, how long he's been there, what's happened to send him over the edge and the answering machine is all part of that history. It's probably more fun for you to speculate than for me to give you the answer!
