I am LOVING these glimpses into Vecchio, during Vegas, before and after. This is tiny, but there's SO much in it. How much he MISSES his old life, how worried he is, behind all the bravado and everything.

YAY, darling!

It was one of those things that was going to be longer, but I didn't like where it was going so I cut it back to the basics. I'm so glad you liked it. *twirls*

Thank you! The increasing distance is what I was trying to portray. I'm so happy that you saw it.

Man, all of this Vecchio-in-Vegas stuff is making me so sad because it's all so well-written. You've captured his isolation really well here in so few words. Poor Ray!

Oh, yes. I loved this. That pain of loneliness cuts through me from this story. I adore that you've managed to say so much in so few words.

Thank you! It started out something else that wasn't working, so I threw all that out and started over with the thought, what's Vecchio feeling? I'm glad it worked for you.

Wow, it's been such a while since I wrote this that I'd forgotten. Thank you for taking time to read and comment. It does want you to pet him and tell him things will work out, eventually.
