Why is it that when a woman is a larger woman, people think they can prey upon them? Does the size 14 and above equate to victim, easy, stupid, and desperate? I totally understand what you're going through..and pay attention to that niggling sense. I have, more than once.
I caught flack from a couple friends (one was a housemate) about turning down a guy (for get together sort of things and giving my address out.) Dude! The guy made me so extremely uncomfortable that I had trouble falling asleep for a couple nights..and that was after just meeting him at a bus stop. I don't usually get the whole 'weirded out' sensation..when I do, I pay attention to it.
