I was in a discussion yesterday on a forum and was rather put off by something, then was told that it was acceptable. It has me in a bit of a tissy to be honest.Let me start this off by putting up what was posted in the forum. This is just a snippit.

In my opinion, it has been (unfortunately) always acceptable to refer to people as heathens in demeaning manors.

I would say that the proper question would be: When will it no longer be acceptable?

Yes, Heathen has always been demeaning, but according to this dude on the forum is it acceptable because there are pagans calling themselves this. This is the problem I am having. WHEN did it become alright within the pagan community to be called a heathen?
