It's time...

It's time for me to slow my life down. I am taking on way too much. I need to focus on my family, my close friends, my work and myself. Not necessarily in that order. I have been a bad friend to many people lately and I apologize. I haven't been taking time to focus on me in order to be a better person for anyone else.

Please forgive me.

I won't forgive you because I don't think you have anything to apologize for. It's definitely important to focus on yourself and work to make yourself a better person. The really good friends will stick around and help out during that process. And in return, when your life is more focused, you get to play the same part to whichever of your friends are in despair. That's the great thing about good friends - you can altruistically help them, knowing that someday they'll be there to return the favor :)
