So, can some one explain the importance of my property taxes? they went up from 27K to 67K, but that's probably because there is a house where last year there was only land. Is that too high? How do I know what to argue?

The beautiful Ms. G left the earth at 11:45 AM today. I was able to hold her the whole time and spend some time with her afterwards. I asked for a tuft of her hair to keep. She is going to be cremated and come back to me.

We love you Ms. G!

I had to take Ms. G to the emergency room because she just kind of flopped out of a chair and hit the floor and wans't acting well. I have to leave her there until 7:30 am at which time I need to go and get her and let them tell me what I need to do.

One of my kitties is really sick (Ms. G). I had to rush her to the vet again today (I took her last friday as soon as I got home from Las Vegas). The vet is not 100% sure about what's wrong with her (they did blood tests), but she lost alot of weight, has possible severe kidney problems, possible lymph node problems. My house survived the first real party this weekend. I had a going away party for a friend who got a consulting job in San Francisco. Had on average about 7 people here at a time. We made guacamole, queso with turkey meat in it, beef and chicken fajitas. It lasted from about 6 PM till 2:30 AM. I was tired after it. Not much to clean up though since ( Read more... )

So, I have never played squares for Superbowl. I played this time. Bought 2. Not the ones I originally wanted.....those were taken. But I won $200 out of it!
