And all the stars were crashing down, as I laid eyes on what I'd found

It was a beautiful weekend, if a little bit chilly at points. I went out to the western part of the state to my grandparent's house. The third weekend of August their town has an annual agricultural fair and my mom's whole family goes up to visit. It is really fun, and really pretty out there so I took tons of pictures.

Here are a whole bunch of pictures of the view from the house, you can see my brother out on the lawn playing baseball.

Someone was selling these awesome hoola hoops that are really easy to use. My sister Caitlin is already an awesome hoola hooper, so she could do it without thinking. I think she would be mad if I posted the video we took of her going for like 15 minutes, so instead here is a shot of her hoola hopping while reading.

To show just how hilarious folks in the hill towns of western Mass are, there was the first ever game of "Cow Plop Bingo" Which was wildly successful.

My cousins bought baby bunnies!

There was a parade with the theme of "Sustainability." During the part where all the old cars drive down the midway we had the addition of about 15 Toyota Priuses. In a town with a population of 800 that is something! Unfortunately I didn't think to take pictures of this, so instead here is Mother Earth and The Sun.

My sister found this broken bench to be quite funny.

I also Posted some newly finished knitting and sewing projects over at my Craft Blog. So go check it out!

ETA: I can't believe I forgot about this, since I told my grandpa and sister that I woudld livejournal about it. The three of us were at one of the food stands getting lunch, and across the midway there was a country music band playing. Standing next to us were two little boys, they looked about four years old. They were talking and one of them said "This old fashioned music rocks!" It was so cute!
