Of the 13 students in my lab section, 4 of them have emailed me today to see if there is anything they can do (and two of them stressed literally anything) for an extra point or two for their final grade. Two of them I feel sorry for - one's a fraction of a point away from an 'A' and the other is a point away from a 'C' and both of them were

Sad that they didn't get higher grades, but that's not your fault. =)

I know, I know. I really had only student who sought me out, and she definitely needed help. I joked with a couple of the other TAs at the start of the session that since most of them were pre-med, we needed to 'thin the herd,' but it was a small class and I did get know a few of them.
