Geeky T-shirts

Yes, I am a geek (and so are my siblings and bil).  There's several tshirts on thinkgeek's website I want, including one from one of my favorite books.  However, last weekend I was discussing geeky tshirts with my sibs and I have a couple I'd love to get made (I do have a place that does custom tshirts nearby ( Read more... )

But they might be good for cons (and for scaring students). Just got an email that the LA Marriott lowered their rates for the con.

The geek in me says, why not?! Definitely need to have "pathogenic" there. I can see all the raised eyebrows you'll get!

For my geek t-shirt, I'm inclined for it to say, "I squish brains for a living." And I'm guessing someone should already have "got brain?"

My avatar icon was something I found totally funny. It was a sign for the exiting driveway of the Marriot in Desert Springs. My sister was ??? And I was laughing up a storm.

Hee! I get some fun looks when I tell people what I study - including the 'should I call homeland security?' look.

One of my friends at school studies bird hormones and mating - so she basically looks at bird brains and genitalia (apparently for one of the species she studies the male genitalia is bigger than the brain). Hearing her ask someone to ship her the jars of bird brains is pretty funny. We've also had people move when we were at a local bar and started talking research...
