Chocobo Beret Get! - I think!
So for those of you that don't follow PoL updates or have a Twitter account, SE has released a Trivia Contest as part of the VanaFest 2010 event coming up this weekend:

You can read the link for all the details, but essentially they are posting 4 trivia questions a day leading up to the event and the first 5 people to reply back on Twitter in the correct format with the correct answer will win the special in-game 'Chocobo Beret' item! (seen below)
Through the first 5 questions over the first 2 days, I got all the Trivia answers correct, but I did no better than Top 10 for any of my replies ... and most of my replies were well out of contention. But today, at 2p ET they released the following question:
Q6: In Salvage, you have to use this imbued item to remove the impairment on your job abilities.
Of the previous 5 questions, I had to look up 3 of the answers on the Wiki (NPC names and such >.>), so I was delayed there. This time, due to my Salvage experience, I knew the answer right away: Opacus Cell - and replied in kind using the correct format:

Then as the answers rolled in, I noticed that I was the 5th responder overall!!! Upon further inspection, the 1st and 4th responders answered incorrectly, so that placed me at #3 out of 5 who won based on this question!
There was some small concern by the community if the 'C' in Cell was caps or not, but an hour after posting the question, the Vanafest2010 Twitter feed posted the correct answer and validated that my answer was correct!
So! Supposedly, they will not be notifying any winners until after the whole contest is over. That means at this point, the best I can do is "think" that I won, based on the order and accuracy of my response. The official rules state winners will be notified by the email account associated with their character & world name. I assume after that, winners will be provided with some sort of code that they can give to a Moogle in game to obtain their prize!
Currently, I cannot find any evidence of the 'Chocobo Beret' item being in-game, so I'm going to guess that I won't be able to get it until the March version update. I've got a few weeks to wait, but the best I can tell I've won!
