I've been totally swamped this month and next month is even worse. I just look at the calendar and cringe. I do have a week of vacation coming up, but I have things planned for every single day ( Read more... )

Do you need a plot? If so, what kind of things do you like to write?

My past few 50k stories for Nanowrimo tend to be either angsty or action/adventure. Last year I went a wee bit towards fantasy but it was an angsty action/adventure piece. They haven't been age specific but I suppose they all are more YA than anything else.

Right now I'm trying to decide between vampires (which I've adored since about birth) and time travel (which has the downside of making me want to pluck my eyes out when I think too hard on it). I've also been toying with a third option that wouldn't be exactly linear and would probably by a traumatic fairy tale of sorts.
