I saw your post in progress pics and you expressed that you cut carbs pretty aggressively and had a lot of success. I'm really restricting carbs at the moment as well, partly because I found out I have pretty high insulin resistance and don't respond to carbs well at all. I'm having a bit of trouble finding foods that I can eat that will keep me under 20-25g per day. Can I ask which foods worked for you, and what you ate a fair amount of and were pretty easy to get a hold of? At this point, I'm eating eggs and green things. Everything else seems to put me over. I would appreciate any insight whatsoever! You really look amazing, by the way!
Sure. I ate mostly chicken breasts and spinach, sometimes hard boiled eggs... and almonds for fiber (but the carbs are higher, too). I had low fat string cheese for snacks... And I used low carb slim-fast shakes as a meal substitute sometimes (you can freeze them to make an ice cream like substance). Pretty boring diet. :/ But basically, just meat and the lowest carb vegetables you can find (broccoli is a good one).
I'm actually eating broccolli at the moment aha. It hadn't occurred to me that some meal replacement shakes were low-carb. I will look into those tomorrow.

Also, the slim fast low carb and EAS advantEDGE low carb shakes were the best brands I could find.
