Calling all VW Owners!!

I have a friend that is thinking of purchasing a VW Passat but has heard about problems people have had with VW cars....any suggestions? Likes/dislikes about your model? Details details details please! She will be reading this :)

I love Chuck- 2002 VW Passat. However, he's expensive as fuck to maintain. He's a very.. touchy car sometimes. Most of his repairs get done at the dealer (because they have to).

It does get made up by the fact that he's amazing. Easy and fun to drive. Handles the weather better than most cars I've had.

I'm hopped up on cold meds- I just hope this made sense.
