I just saw the film "A History of Violence" by David Cronenberg with Viggo Mortensen, Ed Harris et al. Before this week I hadn't really registered the director, but now that I'm checking his profile over at IMDB, I do realise I have seen some of his films, inclduing eXistenZ and Spider, of which I liked neither very much. Mm... I'll probably go to see the movie anyway. I can't resist Viggo... *sighs*

As for my favorite movie... The Return of the King (EE of course) without hesitation. Not only is the movie perfect in artistic achievement but it also related totally to what I was living at the time of its release (the loss of a loved one... the birth of a new self... and so, so much hope in something better)... So, yeah.

The only weak point... Why was Liv Tyler in it ?

Viggo is good! :)

I do agree that The Return of the King is excellent, but I'm not decided if it actually is my favorite. :/ I completely see your point, though.
