Lamp timers?

A question for those of you who use a lamp timer to turn your slow cooker on and off...does your timer seem to reduce the amount of power available to your cooker

Only tangentially relevant...

...but I use a timer I purchased from Rival, and it seems to work fine with no reduction of power. Just FYI.
