Someone at my husband's job said something about this and my husband told me that he looked at him like he was crazy and said, "You HONESTLY believe they're going to outlaw guns? They might pass legislation to make it harder to buy them but if you're not up to no good then that shouldn't bother you." And yes, my husband is very much a gun guy and people at work know that. But he has no issue with gun control.

One of Mike's friends was all concerned about teh guns last night. I just think it's so silly. In the grand scheme of things, the country is in the fucking toilet and people are worried about their pwecious guns? Come on.

Poor guy was SHOCKED that Mike voted for Obama.

Who knows? People like that are nuts. Mike's friend is terrible at managing money, so I could totally see him spending on guns and not paying his property taxes for that quarter (oh, except that he doesn't pay those anyway . . . he gets desperately behind and gets his buddy to bail him out before foreclosure). Responsible people, you know -- just the ones you want to own lots and lots of guns.
