Stuffed Tomatoes

I usually make these along with cabbage rolls, but when I decided to make them I had absolutely no cabbage at home, so just ended up making tomatoes, which are always my favourites anyway. The recipe is actually pretty simple, the whole preparation takes about 10min plus about 25 min cooking. And the result is of course delicious :)

Thanks for sharing -- looks yummy and I'll have to remember this the next time the garden tomatoes are producing like gangbusters (especially appealing being as that they are cooked on the stovetop as opposed to the oven -- much better for those steamy, hot summer days when ironically the tomatoes start REALLY coming in)....)

nope, but it's not a bad idea - that would definitely prevent tomatoes from falling so much apart
