Banana Split Brownie Fail!

So I decided to make the Banana Split Brownies from Vegan With a Vengeance as my contribution to my family's Thanksgiving dinner. And... Well, my niece liked them. *blink

i made them once, but partially with frozen bananas. they were okay, but like you, they didn't seem like brownies to me. i thought my problem was from the frozen bananas, so i would like to make them again with fresh. (i think my problem was from mixing it too much. they were spongey for me.)

OH! also, just in case you didn't know this already, isa and terry are scoopers when it comes to measuring flour. (scooping gets more flour into the cup than the spooning method does. if you spooned your fluffy flour into your measuring cup, definitely try it again by scooping. i could definitely see how not enough flour could make them too fudgey.)

Ah, okay. I'm a scooper, too, though I tend to be a bit aggressive when it comes to shaking the excess out. That might have been it.

I've made them before & I remember them being delicious? Though I'm a professional baker lol
