Most doctors only have to take one semester of nutrition to get their degree, so I don't tend to take what they tell me very seriously. I may not have a degree in nutrition, but I certainly read a lot more about it than the average doctor. Or at least the one's that would recommend fish.
Yeah; my point wasn't even about that, because I think it's common knowledge-at least among vegans-that doctors know very little about nutrition.
I don't know if you looked at the links, but one points out that the fish oil available in capsule form is bleached and denatured beyond recognition anyway-certainly not what Nanook of the North was eating.
Oh, no, yeah, I definitely found that stuff interesting and it's handy to have links like that around to stop the incessant noise of people singing the praises of that stuff.
